Our Ministries
Are you looking to get your hands "dirty" for Christ? We have plenty of
opportunities for service in our local community and beyond. Here are a
few local ministries that we physically and financially support.
Feeding the Flathead
We are an all volunteer soup kitchen that rarely serves soup. We welcome whomever shows up with a good attitude and a good appetite. We strive to provide a cheerful, family friendly place to eat a meal and to visit with other people.
Our guests are people who are having a hard time stretching their budgets to eat healthily. Illness, accidents, job loss, poor paying jobs, low pensions and high cost of living deprive many individuals and families of resources to eat healthy diets. Some of our guests are homeless. Other people are hungry for companionship.
A Ray of Hope
A Ray of Hope is dedicated to helping those in our community who need help. No one is ever turned away from our doors in normal circumstances. A Ray of Hope operates under Biblical principles, We seek to minister the love of God in very practical ways to those who need it most. We desire to heal the hurting and provide help for the hopeless. To reflect God's goodness and express His love, is our desire.
Peggy's House
Peggy's House is a women's and children's shelter by A Ray of Hope. Peggy's House offers more than just a bed and a meal. The goal of the specially designed shelter to to provide struggling single women, mothers and children with a safe haven that offers access to addition counseling, parenting and cooking classes, financial education and more, with no time limitations or cost to tenant.
